Chocolate Orange Pancake for breakfast? why not. Pancake is always perfect for breakfast, served with fresh fruit and maple syrup, mmm yummy. On this recipe I made chocolate pancake with cocoa powder, and some orange juice mixed into the batter, served with sliced orange and chocolate sauce.   • 1 orange fruit, press the juice (50ml orange juice)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 200ml butter milk
  • 100g whole wheat flour
  • 3 Tablespoons oatmeal
  • 1 Tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • a pinch of vanilla powder
  • Garnish: orange fruit and chocolate sauce


  1. Prepare a bowl.
  2. Whisk egg, sugar, butter milk and orange juice.
  3. Add dry ingredients (whole wheat flour, oatmeal, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla powder).
  4. Add melted butter.
  5. Heat a pan medium heat.
  6. Pour 2 Tablespoons of the batter into the pan, cook for 1 minute, turn over.
  7. Repeat again until the batter is finish.
  8. Staple the pancake on a plate, garnish with sliced orange fruit and chocolate sauce.


You can serve it with any kind of fruits you like and taste better with maple syrup or honey.
