I love avocado, my favorites are to mashed or blend the avocado with other ingredients like; tahini paste or yogurt . For example, last time I posted Creamy Avocado Sauce for pasta sauce or as a dip for boiled vegetable and salad dressing; Radish salad avocado tahini sauce. I made this avocado yogurt dip as snack for my relax time in the evening before dinner, served with a pack of chips (don’t too much ), what a perfect night.
Bell peppers… this vegetable always available in supermarket, I bought it normally in a package that include all three color of bell peppers (red, yellow and green). On this recipe I used half of each bell peppers, and use the rest in the next day. For the prawns, I used ready-to-use prawns that means, it’s already peeled and cleaned. Basically this recipe is very simple, serve as appetizer or side dish, some times I ate it with warm white rice as a main course.
Romanesco, also known as Romanesque cauliflower or Romanesco broccoli, is an edible flower bud just like broccoli or cauliflower and it has light green in color. Romanesco has a striking, attractive and exotic appearance because its form is a natural approximation of a fractal. When compared to a traditional cauliflower, as a vegetable its texture is far more crunchy, and its flavor are delicate and nutty. Romanesco only requires light cooking to bring out its mild nutty flavor. Overcooking results loss of the broccoli’s signature taste. It is used as an addition to pasta, salad or vegetable dishes.
I’m sure everybody loves banana. Banana is easy healthy fruit, you can find it in every supermarket. Ripe banana is naturally sweet, normally I use banana to make pancake, muffin or smoothie. I used 100% whole-wheat flour and honey. You can add-ins like nuts, raisins or other dried fruit. This whole wheat banana bread is perfect to serve with a cup of coffee in the morning.
