Almond Date Overnight Oats

After I made Banana Almond Cranberry Overnight Oats for breakfast, seems I like this kind of breakfast, you prepare this at night and enjoy it in the morning. Great idea for people who are lazy to make breakfast because too sleepy to prepare it. This time I’ve made a little bit simple ingredients than before. It’s almond date overnight oats.

Almond Date Overnight Oats
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 6 pieces dates, chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped almond nuts
  • 1 cup soy yogurt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  1. Prepare a bowl, combine soy yogurt, milk, honey and peanut butter, stir well.
  2. Add rolled oats, chopped dates and almond nuts into the bowl, combine well.
  3. Cover the bowl. Other way; portion it into small glass bowls.
  4. Keep in refrigerator overnight.
  5. Top with almond nuts or fruits before serving.

  2. Do you warm it up before serving? Could use almond milk?

    • After I soaked it overnight,I eat this cold. You can heat it in microwave if you like to serve this hot. Sometimes I use almond milk too. Have a nice try 🙂
