I just ate walnut date gouda scones for few days ago as left over for breakfast. I know, scones are typically served as Afternoon Tea / Tea Time. It’s also great to eat this for breakfast with a cup of coffee. This is one of the best scones I ever made, the combination of date, walnuts and gouda cheese wow, yummyyyy! My husband love this so much and it was finished only in one day.
There are some tips how to make this scones; use cold butter and grate it (cold butter is easily to grate) and combine the chopped dates with some flour first before mix it with other ingredients.
