Tofu Green Bell Pepper Soya Sauce

This tofu green bell pepper soya sauce was my dinner yesterday, I bought the tofu at Asia groceries store, and come up the idea to make simple dish with only few other ingredients. First, I fried the tofu after cut it into small diced, then sautéed the onion and bell pepper, season with soya sauce and spices, serve it with warm rice. Delicious and simple dinner.

Tofu Green Bell Pepper Soya Sauce


  • 300g Tofu, washed and cut diced
  • 100ml oil for frying the tofu
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • salt
  • black pepper


  1. Fry diced tofu with 100ml oil for 10 minutes, or until the color turn into light brown, strain and set a side.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, sautée chopped onion and sliced bell pepper for few minutes.
  3. Add crushed garlic. continue stirring.
  4. Add ground coriander and soya sauce.
  5. Add fried tofu, season with salt and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Ready to serve with warm white rice.
