I think I’m addicted to this delicious appetizer – baked sweet potato wedges with mayo chili sauce. It’s very easy to make and also perfect to serve as side dish too. I’m fan of sweet potato, I’ve posted sweet potato recipes on this blog, such as Sweet Potato Pie and Rosemary Sweet Potato Fries . Enjoy it!

This recipe adapted from Creme de la Crumb with Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Wedges.

Sweet Potato Wedges with Mayo Chili Sauce


  • 3 medium sweet potatoes (600g), cut into wedges
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • For dipping sauce:
  • ? cup mayonaisse
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (use more if you like spicy)


  1. Preheat oven 180°C/ 375°F.
  2. Place potato wedges in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl stir together oil, salt, chili powder, and garlic powder.
  4. Pour the mixture over the potato wedges, combine well with your hand (I'm wearing glove),until the sweet potato coated with the oil mixture.
  5. Prepare baking sheet underlined with parchment paper, arrange the sweet potato wedges on it.
  6. Bake potato wedges for 15-25 minutes until fork tender.
  7. Stir together mayo and sriracha sauce for dipping.
