Pumpkin season ….. I love every time I went to supermarket, I always found different kind of pumpkins and of course different sizes of pumpkins, The pumpkin or squash that I’ve bought are Butternut squash, Hokkaido pumpkin, Spaghetti pumpkin, Sweet dumpling, Baby bear pumpkin and Acorn pumpkin. I still keep some of them, looking for some great recipes to try to. This time I used sweet dumpling squash, it’s a little small as Hokkaido pumpkin, and they have nice color and motive, I enjoyed just to look at it. I just add some butter and chopped marjoram inside of the squash and at the end pour it with honey, just simple.

  • 2 Sweet dumpling squash
  • 2 Teaspoons Butter
  • 2 Teaspoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh Marjoram, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • Garnish : Marjoram


  1. Preheat oven 180°C.
  2. Cut the top of the sweet dumpling squash, remove the seeds.
  3. Add butter and chopped marjoram inside the squash.
  4. Put the squash on baking sheet, pour some water (100ml) on baking sheet,
  5. Bake 180°C for about 30-40 minutes, check/pick with fork.
  6. Pour honey before serve.
