Strawberry Muffins

strawberry muffin Strawberry muffins….yummy. Soon, early of june is strawberry season, even though you can already find strawberry everywhere in supermarket, but the strawberry field here in Germany start selling its strawberry early of june, you can pick or select your own ripe strawberries there, check out my strawberry-picking activity last year at strawberry field.

Strawberry muffins can be eat for breakfast or for afternoon tea or coffee time, it’s perfect for anytime. This strawberry muffins recipe is re-post from my first blog

Strawberry Muffins


  • 300g fresh strawberries
  • 2 eggs
  • 150g butter, melted
  • 250g flour
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 1teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • a pinch of vanilla powder


  1. Pre heat oven 175°C /350°F.
  2. Wash the strawberries, remove the green leaves.
  3. Chop dice the strawberries or cut into four pieces, set aside.
  4. Prepare a bowl, mix all dry ingredients; flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla powder.
  5. Add the chopped strawberry, mix it until the strawberry coated with flour-mixture.
  6. Prepare another bowl, beat the eggs, whisk it with melted butter until foamy (make sure that the melted butter not hot anymore), mix it with strawberry-flour-mixture. Stir it slowly with spoon.
  7. Prepare muffin baking form, put muffin papers on it.
  8. Scoop muffin dough with ice cream's scoop, so that easy to portion it. Put it into muffin papers.
  9. Bake it 175°C for 20-23 minutes.
  10. Cool down, ready to serve.
