This sautéed brown Champignon mushrooms are cooked with red wine, flavored with garlic and seasoned with rosemary and black pepper. It’s very easy to make and taste delicious. As side dish, perfect together with your steak or burger. For kids menu, just omit the red wine. For mushroom fans, you should try this recipe:-).

  • 250g Brown Champignon mushrooms, brushed, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup red wine
  • 1 sprig of rosemary, roughly chopped
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • garnish: chopped fresh basil leaves or parsley


  1. Heat olive oil in a pan or skillet.
  2. Add minced garlic, sliced mushrooms and salt, and stir until the mushrooms absorb the oil.
  3. Sauté until the mushrooms cook down, about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the red wine, and cook until it cooks off and evaporates for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add chopped rosemary.
  6. Add fresh ground black pepper to taste.
  7. Top with chopped fresh basil leaves or parsley.
