Looking for appetizer or side dish recipe? you can try this one, it’s sautéed green bean with pine nuts  served with grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Normally I made salad as appetizer but this time a little bit different. It’s very simple recipe, but took a little bit of your time,  you need to trim the edge of the beans, boil it, sauté with olive, roast the pine nuts, serve with grated parmesan cheese, so easy, healthy and delicious. Sautéed Green beans with roasted Pine nuts
  • 250g Green beans
  • 50g Pine nuts
  • 4 Shallots
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive oil or 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • ½ teaspoon Sea salt
  • ground Black pepper
  • 50g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • chopped Parsley for garnish
  1. - wash the green bean
  2. - trim the end of the beans and set aside
  3. - bring a large pot of water to boil, add salt
  4. - cook green bean until crisp tender about 4-5 minutes, remove the beans or drain
  5. - soak the beans with cold ice water or pour with cold water, remove or drain
  6. - roast the pine nuts on a pan without oil until a little bit brown, set aside
  7. - heat oil in a sauce pan with medium heat (you can substitute it with butter)
  8. - sauté the green beans for few minutes (heated but still crisp)
  9. - season with sea salt and ground black pepper
  10. - add the roasted pine nuts
  11. - arrange on a plate
  12. - add grated parmesan cheese
  13. - garnish with chopped parsley
  14. - ready to serve
