Rosemary Sweet Potato Fries

Last time I’ve made roasted butternut squash fries as a snack, it tasted so good, so that I tried it with sweet potato, flavored with rosemary, garlic and chili powder, season with salt and ground black pepper. So this is it; Rosemary sweet potato fries. I served it with garlic parsley avocado dip, wow luxurios snack ever!.

Rosemary Sweet Potato Fries


  • 800g (1) sweet potatoes, peeled
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • salt and pepper


  1. Cut the sweet potatoes like a sticks or wedges, wash and drain.
  2. Preheat oven 180°C/350°F.
  3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, chopped rosemary, paprika powder, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Combine all ingredients (sweet potato sticks+oil mixture) in a big bowl or plastic bag, shake and massage the sweet potatoes until all coated.
  5. Place a baking rack, place the wedges, bake for 25-30 minutes, until tender.
