I’ve made this roasted green asparagus last night, I bought the green asparagus at supermarket, but here you can also buy it direct from asparagus field.. I knew asparagus since I live in Germany, I never ate this before in Indonesia. When asparagus season comes, you can find it everywhere. I was looking for simple recipe with asparagus on internet, there are many of delicious recipe.

Roasted Green Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 500g (1 pound) fresh green asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven 450°F or °C.
  2. Wash and snap off the end of asparagus, remove it.
  3. Prepare baking sheet, underlined with aluminum foil. Place asparagus in a row.
  4. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt and black pepper. Drizzle over asparagus.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until crisp tender, remove from oven, drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
