Have you ever tried raw cake before ? I did. This is it; raw banana date almond chocolate cake. I combined mashed banana with chopped nuts, dates, oats and other ingredients, form in baking dish, keep in the fridge and ready to eat. There’s a lots of ingredients inside this cake, but you don’t have to bake it, at the end it’s worth it to make this raw cake.

  • 3 ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ----------------------------------
  • 10-12 dates, pitted, chopped
  • ½ cup almond, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds, chopped
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds, chopped
  • ---------------------------------
  • dry ingredients:
  • 1 cup ground oat or millet
  • ½ cup desiccated coconut
  • 3 tablespoons cacao powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ------------------------------------
  • garnish: cacao powder and chopped almond
  1. Prepare a bowl, mash banana together with coconut oil.
  2. In another bowl, combine all dry ingredients. mix with mashed banana. Stir well.
  3. Add chopped dates, almond, walnut, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Combine well.
  4. Prepare round baking form underlined with parchment paper.
  5. Pour and press the mixture into baking dish with spatula.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap, keep in the refrigerator for 3 hours or overnight.
  7. Before serving decorate the side with chopped almond and top with cacao powder.
