Anybody love radish?….People in Germany love this. Normally they just eat like that or as salad. You can easily find radish at groceries store, especially the small red-skin radish. Radish cream cheese salad is one of my favorite.

The fact about Radish :
Radish is a root vegetable.
There are many variety of shapes length, sizes, colors of radishes.
The bulb of the radish is usually eaten raw, the leaves sometimes used as a sauteed side dish.
In Europa normally used in salads.
There are some radishes grown for their seeds for oil production,
its seed oil is a potential source of biofuel.
Radishes are rich in potassium, source of calcium, magnesium, copper and vitamin B6 .
On this radish cream cheese salad recipe I used European radishes (Raphanus Sativus).
I made this because my husband love this so much.
This recipe is so simple, just slice..slice…mix..mix.. finish. 🙂

Radish Cream Cheese Salad


  • 300g Radish
  • 1 Tablespoon sliced chives
  • 2 Tablespoons crème fraîche
  • 2 Tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon apple vinegar
  • a pinch of sugar
  • salt and pepper


  1. Cut the radish from the leaves, wash and drain.
  2. Slice thin the radish, put in a bowl.
  3. Prepare another bowl, mix crème fraîche, cream cheese, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and sliced chives, stir it.
  4. Mix the cream-cheese-mixture with the sliced radish together. Stir it.
  5. Keep it 5 minutes in refrigerator.
  6. Arrange it on a plate, garnish with sliced chives and ready to serve.
