I’ve made this pomegranate chocolate tart for coffee time with my friends. They love this (they said:-)) and asking for the recipe. So, this is it! yummy pomegranate chocolate tart. Before you make this, first of all, you have to cut and de-seed the pomegranate. I used the tips from SimplyRecipes.com .

Pomegranate Chocolate Tart
  • For Crust :
  • 1½ cups flour
  • ¾ cup butter, room temperature
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • For Ganache:
  • 1½ cup chocolate chips or 150g Chocolate block
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • ½ cup pomegranate arils
  1. Preheat oven 350°F/180°C.
  2. For the Crust: Whisk butter and sugar in a bowl until combined. Add flour. Combine well.
  3. Prepare a round tart pan. Press dough into the bottom and sides of the tart pan.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow crust to cool in pan while the ganache is prepared.
  5. For Ganache: In a sauce pan, heat heavy cream just to a boil. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips or block. Whisk until all chocolate melt. Pour chocolate ganache into cooled crust and chill in refrigerator for 2 hours or until set. When set, sprinkle pomegranate arils over the top. Ready to serve.
