Parsley Mashed Potatoes

I always cooked mashed potatoes as side dish for fish dish. Few months ago I’ve posted mashed potato , it’s the same recipe like this one but I added some chopped parsley into it, it’s tasted so delicious and smooth mashed potatoes. Parsley Mashed Potatoes


  • 800g potatoes
  • 1 Liter water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • -------------------------------------
  • Seasoning:
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 4 tablespoons (100g) butter
  • 50ml milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


  1. Peel the potatoes. Wash and slice thinly.
  2. Prepare a big pot. Boil water. Add the sliced potatoes. Boil for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Drain (remove the water), Mash the potatoes with potato masher until smooth.
  4. Add butter, milk and chopped parsley, stir well. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg powder. Combine well.
