Padrón Peppers with Sea Salt

Pimentos de Padrón or Padrón peppers is one of tapas menu, every time when I were in Spain and ordered tapas, padrón peppers is always there, mmm I  love tapas. This recipe adapted from HonestCooking.Com with the best way to enjoy padron peppers.


Fried Pimentos de Padròn


  • 20 pieces (200g) pimentos de padrón
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • sea salt


  1. Heat olive oil in a sauce pan, fry and stir the padrón peppers for about 3 minutes until the skin is brown and blistered, remove the peppers from the pan, place in a plate and sprinkle with sea salt.

  1. these look so delish! i’ve never seen padron peppers in markets here in vancouver though – will keep my eye out!
