No Bake Yogurt Cheese Cake

Cheese Cake is always delicious if you serve it at coffee time, tea time or as dessert after dinner. This time I’ve made cheese cake without baking, that’s mean I used Gelatine to make the cheese cake hard/fixed.
This no bake yogurt cheese cake  took a little bit time but it’s worth. I’ve found the recipe at German magazine ‘LECKER‘, with a little bit change.
I’ve tried this recipe about 5 times with a little bit deference of ingredients, for example, for the basic of the cheese cake, you can mix the cashew nuts with almond nuts, raisins or dates, taste really good. For step by step instructions click here.

No Bake Yogurt Cheese Cake


  • First layer ingredients:
  • 300g Dates, pitted
  • 150g roasted Cashew nuts
  • 100g desiccated Coconut
  • 4 Tablespoons Lime juice
  • Second layer ingredients:
  • 500g Yogurt
  • 500g Curd cream cheese
  • 130g Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime juice
  • 6 sheets or 9g Gelatine + 6 Tablespoons cold water
  • 200g Whipped cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Walnut oil for greasing the baking form
  • 4 Tablespoons Desiccated coconut for topping/ garnish


  1. Mix all first layer ingredients (dates,cashew nuts, desiccated coconut and lime juice) with food processor. (if you don't have, just use sharp knife and chop it).
  2. Prepare square baking form and grease it with walnut oil.
  3. Pour the dates-nuts-mixture into the baking form,press it with spoon.
  4. Mix gelatin with water. Heat the gelatin for a while in a pan with low heat.
  5. Mix yogurt, cream cheese, honey and 2 Tablespoons lime juice.
  6. Mix some of the cream-mixture with gelatin and then mix all together.
  7. Put in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Add whipped cream.
  8. Spread the yoghurt-cream-mixture over the dates-nuts-mixture, put it in refrigerator for minimum 4 hours. Sprinkle it with desiccated coconut, slice dice the cake.
