Mushrooms Spinach Cream Pasta Sauce

I’ve just made this pasta sauce tonight for dinner. Mushrooms spinach cream sauce  served with boiled Farfalle pasta or known as bow-tie pasta, basically you can use any kind of pasta you have. The most important  is the perfect sauce for the pasta. Mushrooms that I used are brown champignon mushrooms, the spinach that I used is thawed frozen spinach. Yummy pasta sauce recipe!

Mushrooms Spinach Cream Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
  • 200g Farfalle Pasta, boiled
  • 200g brown Champignon
  • 200g frozen spinach, thaw
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 100ml vegetable broth
  • 100ml cream
  • 2 teaspoons maizena flour + 2 tablespoons warm water
  • salt
  • black pepper
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion and garlic for few minutes, add sliced mushrooms, stir for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add thawed spinach, vegetable broth, cream.
  3. Add maizena mixture, season with salt and black pepper, stir well until turns a little thick consistency.
  4. Serve as pasta sauce. Mix together with boiled pasta.
