If you like to use chia seeds for breakfast, you should try this recipe, it’s Matcha chia pudding with pomegranate. I soaked the chia seeds with mixture of milk, maple syrup and Matcha green tea powder, and leave it overnight. In the morning, I portion it into small jars and sprinkle them with pomegranate arils before serving. It’s also perfect to serve it as dessert.

Matcha chia pudding with pomegranate

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder + 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Pomegranate arils

Instructions:

  1. Prepare a bowl, mix matcha powder with hot water, stir well.
  2. Add milk, chia seeds and maple syrup. Combine well.
  3. Soak for few hours ( about 3 hours) or overnight.
  4. Portion the matcha pudding into small glasses.
  5. Sprinkle with pomegranate arils.
