Mango Orange Date Smoothie

I always drink smoothie for breakfast, it’s my energy boost. I love dates fruit and always added it into my drinks. 
Date fruit is a product of a date palm , a tree native to Northern Africa and the Middle East, 
although it also cultivated in other parts of the world.
Date palms can take 4 to 8 years after planting before they will bear fruit,
and produce harvest between 7 to 10 years.
In addition to being eaten fresh, the date fruit is dried and eaten whole as a snack or included in an assortment of desserts.
There are many different varieties of dates.
Medjool dates are regarded as the “best” variety of dates.
It tastes sweet and have richest flavor.
In Germany l always find dates fruit in supermarket, especially Deglet Noor.
For this mango orange date smoothie recipe, I’ve used Deglet Noor dates from Tunisia, Sunkist orange, ripe mango, Greek yoghurt and Honey.

Mango Orange Date Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 Orange
  • 6 Dates
  • 1 Mango
  • 1 tablespoon Yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Instructions:

  1. Press the orange fruit, take the juice.
  2. Peel the mango fruit's skin, cut dice.
  3. Remove the seeds from dates fruit, chop it.
  4. Mix all ingredients: Dates, Orange, Mango, Yoghurt and Honey into blender, blend it.
  5. Serve on glas, this recipe enough for two person.
  6. Garnish with sliced Orange on the side of glass and chopped dates on top of the smoothie
