Mango Ice Cream

Summer time! Ice cream time!
I’ve made mango ice cream and I surprised with the result, it’s so fruity and you can taste some pieces of mango inside the ice cream. Yes, I didn’t puree all the mango fruit, but I cut small dice the half of the mango. You can see from the picture below, you can see pieces of mango inside. You don’t need ice cream machine to enjoy the ice cream, since not everybody have the machine, you just need patience to stir the ice cream every 10 minutes in few hours. Try it!

Mango Ice Cream


  • 2 1/2 Mangos
  • 250ml Milk
  • 250ml Heavy cream
  • 50g Sugar
  • juice from 1/2 Lemon
  • a pinch of Vanilla powder


  1. Peel mango skin, cut small dice the half of the mango, set aside.
  2. Cut the 2 mangos into chunks, puree the mango chunks, add lemon juice, vanilla powder and sugar, set aside.
  3. Mix cream and milk into blender, add mango puree, continue to blend until few minutes until smooth consistency. Pour into ice container.
  4. Add diced mango into the container, stir it.
  5. Keep in freezer, stir it every 10 minutes.
  6. After 4 hours, the ice cream is ready to serve.
  7. Scoop and enjoy it.
