I’m looking for snack recipes and found this recipe at Bakeaholic Mama website with Pumpkin pie wontons with a pear ginger bear dipping sauce. I didn’t make the dipping sauce (to lazy), I just dusted the pumpkin wonton with powdered sugar, you can also eat just like that.
Here I used pastry form to make the wontons looks nice (fan-formed), if you don’t have, just golden into triangle-form. Don’t forget to add some water at the edge of wontons to stick it. For filling I mixed pumpkin puree with brown sugar and pumpkin spice (mix of ground cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg and star anise). Fry or deer-fry the wontons, strain, underlined it with kitchen paper. You can make your own pumpkin puree, for recipe click here. Serve the fried pumpkin wontons with any dip sauce you like.
