Hi, here is another recipe from my mom, sliced beef with teriyaki sauce with mushrooms and bell peppers. On this recipe we boiled the beef first, to make the beef soft and easy to chew. The bell peppers the we’ve used are green and orange bell peppers. At the end we pour teriyaki sauce. Serve it with steamed rice and it will be your perfect dinner.

Beef Mushroom Bell Pepper


  • 250g beef fillet, sliced
  • 1liter water for boiling
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 orange bell pepper, sliced
  • 6 pieces mushrooms, cut into four
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper


  1. Boil sliced beef fillet for 20-30 minutes. Strain.
  2. Prepare wok, heat margarine, saute sliced onion, add minced garlic, add sliced green and orange bell peppers, add mushrooms.Stir for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Add boiled beef into the wok, season with salt and pepper, pour teriyaki sauce, cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve with warm steamed rice.

  1. I love the fact that this is your mum’s recipe. I also think boiled beef is great in soups as it just falls apart.
