Avocado Chocolate Muffins


Muffin for breakfast ? yes please. I love to make muffin to eat together with my morning coffee. This avocado chocolate muffin is one of my favorite, the good thing is, it’s vegan. So what you are waiting for, if you have one ripe avocado and chocolate chips at home, try to make this 🙂


This Vegan Chocolate Avocado Muffin Recipe inspired by I Heart Vegetables .

Avocado Chocolate Muffins
  • 1½ cups all purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, mashed with fork
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • ½ cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.
  2. Prepare silicon muffin tin or grease muffin tin with coconut oil.
  3. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  4. Whisk mashed avocado with maple syrup, almond milk, coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spoon the mixture into prepared muffin tin.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
